I am an author and creative writing tutor with ten years of experience, having taught at The University of Kent and Canterbury Christ Church University on their BA and MA programs.  I remain an Associate Lecturer in Creative and Professional Writing at Canterbury Christ Church.  I have run classes for Kent Adult Education non-stop for a decade, but from April 2025 will operate as an independent tutor.

I run Café Writers on Monday mornings, Haven Writers on Tuesdays, Online Writers on Thursdays, and Rogue Writers on Friday mornings (online).

I mentor a few writers privately.

Writing Interests

My writing themes concentrate around family, nature and faith. Life writing and fiction.

My nature writing has also been published in four anthologies by Elliott and Thompson: Spring, An anthology for the changing seasons, along with Summer… Autumn… and Winter.

My Christian writing is found in the Association of Christian Writers’ Christmas Anthology, Merry Christmas Everyone and Write Well: A Handbook for Christian Writers, ACW.  I have also written devotional material for the Upper Room.
