About

I am a lecturer in Creative and Professional Writing at Canterbury Christ Church University, where I teach on the BA and MA programs.  I also run regular workshops for Kent Adult Education in Deal and Folkestone, and occasional sessions for the Canterbury Festival and local writers’ groups.

Writing interests

Since finishing my PhD in narrative non-fiction I have been enjoying writing Gospel Voices, a Christian book that is now out on submission.  This is a between-the-lines look at accounts from all four gospels.  Please contact me if you would like more information.

My badger memoir, Badger Clan, is available via Waterstones, Amazon and all good book shops.  My nature writing has also been published in four anthologies by Elliott and Thompson: Spring, An anthology for the changing seasons, Summer…, Autumn… and Winter.

My Christian writing is found in the Association of Christian Writers’ Christmas Anthology, Merry Christmas Everyone.  I have also written devotional material for the Upper Room.

I am currently researching new projects on both Christian and nature themes (and perhaps a combination of the two).

My agent is Anne Williams of the Kate Hordern Literary Agency.

Please do get in touch with me.  Point me in the direction of your own blog and Twitter account, too!
